Why Scholar Ghana Exists
Scholar Ghana was built around a simple, recurring problem: talented students being forced to pause or abandon their education over a single unpaid semester fee. Traditional scholarship programs are often once-a-year, opaque about where funds go, and disconnected from the donors who make them possible.
We set out to fix that with a semester-based model - scholarships awarded on a regular, predictable cycle, funded by donors who can see, in real numbers, exactly how their generosity is used. Every donation is recorded, every award is public, and every applicant can track their own progress from start to finish.

Winners are announced publicly each cycle, and funds are disbursed directly toward tuition and fees.
